3. Payment for Services vs. Products

  • Product Purchases: For physical goods, the full payment is usually collected at the time of checkout (unless COD is available).

  • Service Bookings (Events, Repairs, etc.): For services like wedding planning or laptop repair, you may be required to pay a booking amount or a small service fee upfront. The remaining balance will be paid directly to the service provider after completion.

  • Real Estate (Rent/Sell): Payments for plot or house purchases/rentals are typically handled offline between the buyer and the seller. ApnaExpert may charge a nominal lead/connection fee if applicable.

 

4. Security & Encryption

We use industry-standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption to protect your data. Your payment details are processed through secure, RBI-authorized third-party payment gateways. ApnaExpert does not store your sensitive card details or banking passwords on our servers.

 

5. Commission Disclosure

ApnaExpert.com operates as a marketplace. We connect customers with expert vendors. For every successful transaction or booking facilitated through our platform, we charge a commission from the vendor. This commission is included in the price shown to you; there are no hidden charges for the customer.

 

6. Order Confirmation

Once your payment is successful, you will receive an automated confirmation via email and SMS. For service bookings, the details of the assigned expert will be shared with you immediately.

 

7. Failed Transactions

In case of a failed transaction where the money is debited from your account but the order is not confirmed, the amount is usually refunded automatically by your bank within 5-7 business days.
