Refund & Cancellation Policy

 

1. Introduction

At ApnaExpert.com, we strive to ensure a transparent experience for both our customers and vendors. Since we are a marketplace aggregator for both physical products and professional services, our refund and cancellation rules vary based on the category.

 

2. Product Returns & Refunds (Physical Goods)

If you have purchased a physical product from a vendor on our platform:

  • Return Window: You can request a return within [Insert Number, e.g., 7] days of delivery.

  • Conditions: The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and with all tags intact.

  • Refund Process: Once the vendor receives and verifies the returned product, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.

  • Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs may apply unless the product was damaged or incorrect.

 

3. Service Cancellation & Refunds (Repairs, Events, Rentals)

For services like Laptop Repair, Wedding/Birthday planning, and Room Rentals:

  • Cancellation by Customer: * If you cancel 24 hours before the scheduled service time, a full refund of the booking amount (if any) will be initiated.

    • If you cancel within 24 hours of the service, a small cancellation fee may be deducted to compensate the expert's travel or preparation.

  • No-Show by Expert: If the assigned expert/service provider does not show up at the scheduled time, you are entitled to a 100% refund of the booking amount.

  • Service Dissatisfaction: If you are unhappy with the service provided, please contact our support team within 24 hours. We will mediate between you and the vendor to find a fair solution (partial refund or re-service).

 

4. Real Estate & Leads (Plot/House Sell)

  • Lead Fees: Any fee paid to get the contact details of a property owner or a premium listing is generally non-refundable once the information has been shared.

  • Token Money: Any "Token Money" or advance paid for property purchase/rental is a direct transaction between you and the seller/landlord. ApnaExpert is not responsible for the refund of such amounts.

 

5. Commission Policy

ApnaExpert.com works on a commission-only basis. Our commission is earned for the successful connection and facilitation of the deal. In the event of a full refund to the customer, we coordinate with the vendor to ensure the customer receives their rightful amount.

 

6. How to Request a Refund?

To initiate a refund or cancellation:

  1. Login to your ApnaExpert.com account.

  2. Go to 'My Orders' or 'My Bookings'.

  3. Click on the specific order/booking and select 'Request Refund/Cancel'.

  4. Alternatively, email us at refunds@apnaexpert.com with your Order ID.

 

7. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Services that have already been completed.

  • Products damaged due to misuse by the customer.

  • Cancellations made after the expert has already reached the service location.
